OVERVIEW OF WHAT IS NEEDED FOR IMPORT AND EXPORTING

 

LIST OF BASIC REQUIREMENTS

Below list is an basic overview of what is needed for export and import of animals into different countries. Please be advised that every country may have different requirements and it is the clients responsibility to check with the DESTINATION COUNTRY's requirements for export/import.  

  • Microchip marking
  • Registration number of the cat from the issuing country
  • Pedigree (If applicable)
  • 8 and 12 set of vaccinations (for kittens)  or up to date vaccinations for adult cats
  • two sets of de-worming: Milbamex for internal parasites (usually done at 8 weeks for kittens) and Frontline for external parasites (done at 12 weeks)
  • Health Certificate signed, dated and stamped with certified Veterinarian signature after health inspection no older then 7 (seven days) before the cats travels
  • Passport (signed by Veterinarian) containing current vaccinations, rabies and de-worming stamps and dates

For kittens traveling to new homes the sender must also include the signed Booking Contract and signed Contract of Sale between the Breeder and the new owner.

 

AT THE TIME OF BOOKING WE WILL HELP YOU TO FILL THOSE REQUIREMENTS BY

  • Checking dates and signatures on all health records sent to us
  • Verifying all relevant forms needed to travel have been received 
  • Checking your destination's requirements for import (the end responsibility with the SENDER of the animal)
  • verifying that all health records/passport/ rabies and other records have been sent to us before travel  so the animal can travel. Animals can only travel with up to date records and a verified (signed by a licensed veterinarian and in some cases, with certain countries, a State Veterinarian must additionally sign health forms.

 

 

THE CLIENT IS THE RESPONSIBILE FOR VERIFICATION 

In the end it is the client who will sign a verification form that states they have checked requirements needed for the pet to travel and all forms are correct. We hold the right to non-refund of funds of plane fare if the plane ticket has been booked and the incorrect forms (or missing forms or discovered at the airport) and an animal's flight is canceled or delayed.
